Private bookings are handled personally by the team. A bespoke menu can be arranged with advance notice. All enquiries are handled with complete discretion and care.
We recommend booking at least 3–7 days in advance. For weekend dinners and public holidays, popular dates can book out 2–4 weeks ahead. If you're visiting Penang specifically to dine with us, please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
The RM 200 deposit is fully refundable if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the deposit. We understand that plans change — please let us know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
Yes — please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate you, though please note that many of our dishes contain shellfish, nuts and sesame. As our kitchen is not allergy-segregated, we cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free experience.
Yes. Auntie Gaik Lean's is fully pork-free — no pork or lard is used in any dish or preparation. The restaurant is also fully alcohol-free; no alcoholic beverages are available or permitted on the premises. We serve a selection of traditional Nyonya drinks and soft beverages.
Limited street parking is available on Bishop Street and the surrounding area. We recommend using one of the paid car parks on Penang Street or Carnarvon Street, both within a 5-minute walk. Alternatively, Grab or taxis drop off directly in front of the restaurant.
